Today, on June 2, 2020, Blackout Tuesday was announced as a sign of solidarity and protest against police aggression and racism. Major labels including Warner Music Group and Atlantic Records, publishing and PR companies, and artists around the world have shared the idea of solidarity through social networks. Major music labels — Interscope, Universal Music, Columbia Records, Sony Music, Apple Music streaming, and others-have also joined the movement. The action, organized in response to the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.
